Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu made a major step in the right direction in 2025 as they surged up the rankings.
Draper proved he was Andy Murray’s true successor by winning his first Masters title at Indian Wells and reaching a career ranking high of world number four.
Raducanu, meanwhile, made giant strides in the rankings as she enjoyed her best season since her debut year, which saw her stun the world by lifting the 2021 US Open.
After landmark seasons on the ATP Tour and WTA Tour, Raducanu and Draper have both been nominated for an award.

Emma Raducanu receives LTA female player of the year nomination
Draper and Raducanu lead the list of nominees for the Lawn Tennis Association’s Player of the Year for 2025.
Raducanu has been nominated for the ‘Female Player of the Year’ alongside Sonay Kartal and Francesca Jones.
What does Emma Raducanu need to improve in 2026?
Kartal and Jones both ended the season inside the top 100 as they both proved they could cut it on the WTA Tour.
Jones reached the first round of Wimbledon and the US Open for the first time, while Kartal’s season included a remarkable fourth round appearance at SW19 and a shock victory against Mirra Andreeva at the China Open.
Raducanu will likely be the favourite to win the award, but it’s arguably the strongest field there has been for a very long time.
Jack Draper received LTA male player of the year nomination
Draper, meanwhile, has been nominated for the male player of the year despite missing the second half of the season.
The British star ended the season as the highest-ranked British player following several high-profile performances at Grand Slams and Masters events.
Where will Jack Draper be ranked by the end of 2026?
Draper has been nominated alongside Cameron Norrie and Jacob Fearnley, both of whom impressed in 2025.
Norrie finished the season in the top 30 following excellent performances in the second half of the season, including another victory over Carlos Alcaraz at the Paris Masters and a Wimbledon quarter-final appearance.
Fearnley also made strides in 2025 as he cracked into the top 100 and reached the third round of the Australian Open and Roland Garros.
