The strength in depth that British tennis currently has at its disposal has been backed up by a remarkable statistic.
After Britain’s Davis Cup success against Poland, and the Billie Jean King Cup team riding high with Katie Boulter, the nation continues to impress on the big stages.
British tennis was often propped up by one huge star, with the likes of Tim Henman and Andy Murray representing the country on the bigger stages.
Now, there are several high-profile names at every major tournament with the likes of Jack Draper, Cameron Norrie, and Jacob Fearnley riding high in the rankings.

Britain has nine ATP Tour top 200 players for the first time ever
The depth of British tennis runs deep throughout the ATP Tour and the nation has just achieved something for the first time ever.
Nine players are currently in the ATP Tour top 200, more than there has ever been in the history of British tennis.
| British Players in the top 200 of the ATP Tour | Rank |
| Jack Draper | 7 |
| Cameron Norrie | 33 |
| Jacob Fearnley | 62 |
| Billy Harris | 130 |
| Dan Evans | 146 |
| Jack Pinnington-Jones | 176 |
| Oliver Crawford | 183 |
| Jay Clarke | 189 |
| Jan Choinski | 191 |
Draper and Norrie currently populate the top 50, at World No. 7 and 33, respectively, with Fearnley not far behind at World No. 62.
Six players are currently ranked between 100 and 200, with Jan Choinski the latest to sneak into the top 200 thanks to his performances at Bad Waltersdorf Challenger.
Dan Evans, Jay Clarke, Oliver Crawford, and Jack Pinnington-Jones also represent Great Britain in the ATP Tour top 200.
Will Jack Draper win a Grand Slam?
Great Britain has not had a Grand Slam winner since Andy Murray lifted the Wimbledon trophy for the second time in 2016.
Many believe Draper to be the natural successor to Murray’s crown and that’s something the Scot believes too.
Speaking to BBC Sport in June 2025, Murray believes there’s every chance Draper could follow in his footsteps.
“Jack [Draper]’s right in the mix just now and doing extremely well,” the three-time Grand Slam champion said.
The Scottish icon added: “He’s going to give himself opportunities to win majors over the next five, 10 years.”
Draper’s best performance at a Grand Slam is a semi-final appearance at the US Open in 2024, which saw him lose to Jannik Sinner in straight sets.
