Iga Swiatek will be looking to bounce back at the Qatar Open after crashing out of the Australian Open at the quarter-final stage.
The world number two was defeated by eventual winner Elena Rybakina, who swept aside the Pole in straight sets.
Swiatek has planned changes to her game following the Australian Open, and she will be looking to implement them at the first WTA 1000 event of the year in Doha.
Ahead of the Qatar Open, Swiatek has been spotted practising with two high-profile names already in Doha.

Iga Swiatek practises with Amanda Anisimova and Australian Open history-maker
Swiatek’s preparations for the Qatar Open are well underway and she has already been spotted practising on the event’s main court.
The star was spotted hitting balls with Amanda Anisimova in Doha, the player whom she stunned 6-0 6-0 in the Wimbledon final last year.
Do you think women should play best-of-five set matches?
But that was not the only player Swiatek has been seen with on the practise courts.
The world number two has also been playing with Zeynep Sonmez, the Turkish star who is currently riding a wave of momentum since the Australian Open.
The star became the first Turkish woman to win a match at the Australian Open when she defeated Ekaterina Alexandrova.
The star followed that shock result up with another impressive display to knock Anna Bondar out in the second round.
Sonmez’s campaign was eventually ended by the hands of Yulia Puntinseva, who beat the qualifier in three sets.
The Turkish star played the Abu Dhabi Open following her exploits in Melbourne, but she was beaten by Alexandra Eala in the first round.
What Iga Swiatek will do at the Qatar Open that she hasn’t done for over two years
World number one Aryna Sabalenka will not play the Qatar Open, meaning Swiatek will be the number one ranked seed at the event.
The Pole has not been the top seed at a Masters event since the 2023 Cincinnati Open, so she will break a 28-month streak in Qatar.
If you were in charge of tennis, what is the first rule you would change?
Swiatek reached the semi-finals of the Cincinnati Open the last time she was the top seed, so she will be hoping to improve her record.
The star lost to Coco Gauff in the semi-final, who went on to defeat Karolina Muchova in the final to win the event on home soil.
Both Gauff and Swiatek have been drawn in different halves of the draw, meaning they could meet in the final in Qatar.
