Carlos Alcaraz won his 26th ATP Tour title by comprehensively defeating Arthur Fils in the Qatar Open final.

Alcaraz dispatched Fils in 50 minutes to continue his unbeaten start to the season and pick up his 12th win of 2026.

The Spaniard heads to Indian Wells next, where he will be looking to win his third title after lifting the trophy in California in 2023 and 2024.

After his latest victory in an ATP final, Alcaraz stands head and shoulders above some of the best players in tennis.

Carlos Alcaraz’s incredible win rate in ATP finals

Alcaraz’s latest victory in an ATP final has bolstered his extraordinary record above Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal.

The Spaniard holds a 76.47% win-rate in ATP finals, having lost just eight of his 34 finals since making his professional debut.

Jannik Sinner comes close to Alcaraz with a 72.73% win-rate from 33 ATP finals, while Nadal is the only member of the big three to hold a win-rate of over 70%.

PlayerWin-Loss Record in ATP finalsWin % in ATP finals
Carlos Alcaraz26-876.47%
Jannik Sinner24-972.73%
Rafael Nadal92-3970.23%
Novak Djokovic101-4469.66%
Roger Federer103-5465.61%

Of course, Alcaraz still has a long way to match the longevity of those three icons, but it’s an impressive feat nonetheless.

Federer, Djokovic, and Nadal have currently reached over 100 more finals than Alcaraz and they only hold a 10% less win-rate.

The jury is out whether Alcaraz can match the greatness of Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic over a longer distance of time, but he is currently hitting numbers those legends did not achieve so early in their career.

The five players to defeat Carlos Alcaraz in ATP finals

Alcaraz’s incredible record in ATP finals has seen him only pick up losses to five different players in his career.

While the likes of Sinner and Djokovic appear logical, with both managing to pick up multiple wins against the Spaniard in finals, there are other surprising names.
