After winning the Australian Open title, Carlos Alcaraz has achieved a career-best points total of 13,650; over 3,000 points ahead of Jannik Sinner in second place.
While Alcaraz’s points total is certainly remarkable, it pales in comparison to the career-best totals of Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.

Nadal achieved a career-high of 15,390 – the third-highest in tennis history. Roger Federer is in second place, having achieved a total of 15,495 during his career.

Djokovic, who surpassed Federer’s total, accomplished the momentous total after winning his first French Open title.
Djokovic defeated Andy Murray in the final, securing the Career Grand Slam.
Andy Murray is ranked fifth on the list, having amassed 12,685 points after winning the 2016 ATP Finals; securing the year-end world number one ranking for the first and only time in his career.

How Carlos Alcaraz’s points total could look in two weeks
Carlos Alcaraz is guaranteed to lose 500 points on February 16 when the Rotterdam Open concludes.
This is because Alcaraz has withdrawn from the event, despite being the defending champion.
However, he has a chance to regain some of those points when he plays at the Qatar Open later this month.
Alcaraz lost in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Qatar Open, earning himself 100 ATP ranking points.
