Felix Auger-Aliassime has created a vacancy within his team after Wimbledon.
Auger-Aliassime suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon quarter-finals, which he lost in five hours and 15 minutes.
Following this defeat, Auger-Aliassime has announced that he would be parting ways with his coach of nearly 10 years, Frederic Fontang.
Auger-Aliassime will now be looking for a new coach, and former US Open finalist Greg Rusedski, who has been working with Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, has now confirmed if he would be interested.

Greg Rusedski says he would ‘consider it very seriously’ if Felix Auger-Aliassime wanted him as a coach
Rusedski spoke about Auger-Aliassime’s announcement in the latest edition of his ‘Off Court with Greg Rusedski‘ podcast.
In this portion of the episode, Rusedski was then asked if he would now consider coaching Auger-Aliassime.
Rusedski admitted that he had approached Auger-Aliassime a few years ago, and despite no announcement being made about him parting ways with Mpetshi Perricard, he confirmed that he would still be interested if he was asked to join the world number four’s team.
“Well, I approached him a few years back about trying to do something with him,” said Rusedski. “He’s one of those players that anyone would like to work with, so if he came knocking on my door I would consider it very seriously.
“I like the person, I like what I’m seeing from him and I just think he needs that little more toughness at the latter stages against the very best, which he is getting very close to doing, so anyone would love to take that job.”

Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard’s record since hiring Greg Rusedski as his coach
Rusedski joined Mpetshi Perricard’s team in April, after the Frenchman saw his former coach Francisco Roig join Iga Swiatek’s team.
Mpetshi Perricard has had mixed results since then, with the highlight coming during the grass court season when he reached the quarter-finals.
Despite his run in Stuttgart, Mpetshi Perricard had a difficult result at Wimbledon, where he lost in the first round to Yannick Hanfmann.
