Emma Raducanu’s season has started in disappointing fashion, particularly with the star’s Australian Open second round exit.
Raducanu has made strange changes to her game in 2026, as she entered the new season still struggling with a foot injury.
The British number one defeated Mananchaya Sawangkaew in the first round of the Australian Open, but then fell to Anastasia Potapova in the next round.
Following her disappointing Australian Open campaign, Jamie Murray has suggested her time with her coach could soon come to an end.

Jamie Murray says Emma Raducanu and Francisco is ‘not going to last too long’
Speaking on TNT Sports, Murray cast doubt on Raducanu’s partnership with Francisco Roig continuing for much longer.
“The coach came under a lot of scrutiny after that and, who knows, maybe we’ll see a new coach in the players’ box in the near future.
How likely is it that Emma Raducanu wins another Grand Slam, and why?
“I have no idea what the relationship is with Francisco Roig or what they’re working on or how he see her game style. She seems to see it in a different way so ultimately it’s the player who should be deciding how they should play.
“If they’re not on the same wavelength, it’s probably not going to last too long. I’m interested to see what happens that next few weeks and months.”
Raducanu holds a 3-3 loss record after appearances at the United Cup, Hobart International, and the Australian Open.
The British star began working with Roig ahead of the North American swing following last summer’s Wimbledon.
Where will Emma Raducanu play next?
Raducanu has already signed up a slew of WTA 125 events in what looks to be a bid to win her first title since the 2021 US Open.
The British star’s campaign in Hobart did not go according to plan, despite the star receiving a walkover into the quarter-final.

Her next attempt at claiming a smaller title will be at the Transylvania Open, which is set to begin on the 31 January.
Raducanu has entered the Romanian tournament alongside Donna Vekic, Elena-Gabriela Ruse, and Sorana Cirstea.
The event will hold fond memories for the British star, as it is the location of her very first WTA-level victory.
