Emma Raducanu has only heightened fears that she could be about to withdraw from Wimbledon after her latest practice session.
Raducanu had already caused concern after she did not appear for her scheduled practice session at Wimbledon and was reported to have been wearing an orthopaedic boot due to a right shin injury.
Things only went from bad to worse for the Briton after the Wimbledon draw was announced, where Raducanu was placed in the same section as Aryna Sabalenka.
With just two days to go until Wimbledon, Raducanu arrived for her first public practice session since Monday, but it did not end well for the 2021 US Open champion.

Raducanu arrived for her practice session ahead of Wimbledon with strapping on her left shin, showing signs of the injury that had been reported.
The 23-year-old first practiced with her coaches, before Raducanu did a second hour with world number 20 Anna Kalinskaya on No.3 Court.
However, after trailing a practice set 4-0 against Kalinskaya, Raducanu decided to cut the session short.
During this practice session, it has been reported that Raducanu was telling her coach Andrew Richardson that she was struggling to step into her shots due to the shin issue.
Raducanu then gestured her hand across her throat to display that she could no longer continue the practice session, only heightening fears that she could withdraw from Wimbledon.
Following this practice session, Raducanu’s pre-tournament press conference has been moved from Saturday to Sunday, June 28, as she buys time to make a decision on her Wimbledon participation.
