Emma Raducanu is into the Queen’s final, having handily dispatched Iva Jovic in straight sets this evening.
On a mild summer’s evening as the sun set on London, the 23-year-old put in arguably her best performance in recent memory to overcome the world number 17.
It marks her second top-20 win of the tournament, and Sunday will be her third career final.
This marks an outstanding opportunity to now claim only the second title of her career, adding to that incredible US Open run in 2021.
Emma Raducanu spoke on court afterwards, and was unsurprisingly elated as she gave her immediate reaction.

The top-ranked Brit began by stating: “It means everything to be doing it here in Queen’s in front of everyone. The support today, the whole day was electric, so thank you so much.”
The interviewer then spoke about Raducanu’s struggles leading up to this event, to which she laughed as she replied:“Thanks for reminding me about that stat!
“No, I think this week has been incredible, I’ve really enjoyed playing here and I think that really shows in my tennis. How I’ve been able to compete, stick out some really tough moments, it means everything making it to Sunday, and I hope you guys can come tomorrow and support for one more.”

Asked what it would mean to win the title tomorrow, she added: “Of course, if you ask any player, especially any Brit, they would love to lift the title here.
“Me and my team over there, who have really stuck through some really tough moments in the last few months where the results haven’t been going our way but we’ve been putting in work day in day out, and I want to take this opportunity to also thank them for getting me to this situation.”
Raducanu reserved special praise for the fans, adding: “Can I just give a shout out, there are like three guys over there, I was 0-40 on one service game, and I hear the Radders going, I appreciate it! All the support today has been incredible, so thank you so much.”
Raducanu offered an injury update earlier today after she fell during her first match, but she seemed to bounce back pretty well with this win.
Tracy Austin explains why Emma Raducanu is so good on the grass
Whilst watching the match, commentating for Prime Video’s live coverage, Tracy Austin actually explained why she thinks Raducanu is so good on grass.
After all, whilst this Queen’s run will be her first career final on the surface, she has historically shone on the turf, with two Wimbledon fourth rounds marking career highlights.
The American pundit admitted: “Well, I think she knows that she has to be a little bit more aggressive than she usually does. She uses the backhand slice so offensively to change the rhythm.
Do you think Emma Raducanu has made a good decision with this hire?
Could you see her winning another Grand Slam title alongside Andrew Richardson?
“It forces her out of her comfort zone to be aggressive. Always think of the mindset: if you’re not aggressive first, your opponent will be.
“The serve is so important for Raducanu. That’s the one stroke.
“Her ground strokes are so important, but when she won the US Open, her serve was impeccable. Match point, she hit an ace on the outside. It was on par with her return game.”
