Dubai Tennis Championships 2024 Preview (ATP): When is it, who is playing and what is the prize money?
It is time for the ATP Tour to take to the Dubai Tennis Championships, in what will be the 32nd edition of the men’s event in the United Arab Emirates.

When is the Dubai Tennis Championships 2024?
Main draw action in Dubai will kick-off on Monday 26th February, concluding with both the singles and doubles finals on Saturday 2nd March.
On most days play will begin at 2pm local time (10am GMT), with finals day beginning at a later time of 4:30pm in Dubai (12:30pm GMT).
Qualifying is set to take place over the coming weekend (Saturday 24th February and Sunday 25th February).

Where are the Dubai Tennis Championships held?
The tournament is once again held at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre, and has done since 1996, when Novak Djokovic’s now coach Goran Ivanisevic won the singles title.
There are multiple hard courts on this complex, with Centre Court holding a maximum of 5,000 spectators.
Who is playing at the Dubai Tennis Championships 2024?
The singles draw in Dubai is headlined by defending champion Daniil Medvedev, who is playing his first tournament since losing the Australian Open final from two-sets-to-love up.

Andrey Rublev, who is the second seed, is also a former champion in Dubai having won the title two years ago.
Other top seeds in the draw are Hubert Hurkacz, Karen Khachanov, Ugo Humbert and Adrian Mannarino.
The only other previous champion in the field is Andy Murray, who is looking to push on from breaking his losing streak in Doha earlier this week.
A special exempt has been awarded to 18-year-old Jakub Mensik, who has enjoyed a dream run to the final in Doha after beating the likes of Murray, Rublev and Gael Monfils.
Monfils will also be in Dubai having been offered a wildcard, alongside Indian Sumit Nagal and Jordanian Abdullah Shelbayh.

There is a maximum of 500 points on offer for the singles and doubles champions at the Dubai Tennis Championships, and here is a full breakdown of that:

The tournament in Dubai is one of the more prestigious ATP 500 events, and can attract top players due to the generous prize money offerings for those who are successful.

Last year saw Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev battle it out for the title, with the former getting the better of his friend in a straight sets victory.
However, prior to the last three years the event was dominated by that of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, who have won a combined 13 titles at the tournament.
