Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have dominated at the ATP Finals this term with both men yet to lose at the tournament.
The top two players in the world will meet in yet another final after going unbeaten at the Turin tournament.
Sinner and Alcaraz have made ATP Finals history and they will play out their sixth final of the year at the tournament.
Casper Ruud, who has been watching on in Turin as an alternate, has revealed which group he would have preferred to play in.

Casper Ruud names which ATP Finals group he’d rather play in
Ruud became a last-minute alternate at the tournament after Novak Djokovic pulled out of the event due to injury.
The star has not been required to play a competitive match, but he has been practicing with some of the top players in the tournament.
After being up close and personal with the likes of Alcaraz and Sinner, Ruud has picked who he would prefer to play.
Asked by BB Tennis which group he would like to be drawn in at this year’s ATP Finals, Ruud replied: “I don’t know, it’s hard. I mean you have Carlos and Jannik in each group.
“Other than that I think it would be fun no matter what really. Is Alcaraz in the Bjorn Borg group? I like Bjorn, of course. He’s a good friend from Laver Cup.
“I’ve had the joy to be around him for Laver Cup a few times and I would maybe like to be in the Bjorn Borg group.”
Ruud might not have played the event this year, but he has history with the year-end tournament. The Norwegian reached the semi-finals in 2024, but lost to Sinner in straight sets.
The star defeated Alcaraz in the round robin phase of the tournament to qualify for the knockout stages.
Casper Ruud’s head-to-head record against Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz
It’s a testament to Sinner and Alcaraz’s dominance on the ATP Tour that Ruud has not been able to really challenge either man.
The Norwegian has reached a career-high of world number two and reached three Grand Slam finals, but he’s picked up just one victory against Sinner and Alcaraz in 10 attempts.
Sinner has beaten Ruud in all four of their meetings, with their last match seeing the Norwegian win just one game in a straight-sets mauling.
Ruud has lost more matches to Alcaraz, falling to him on five occasions, but he did taste victory against the Spaniard at the ATP Finals.
