Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have been battling it out all season for the right to call themselves the best tennis player in the world.

Sinner and Alcaraz have met six times in 2025, with the rivals each winning two Grand Slams across the season.

The two men recently met in the ATP Finals, which saw Sinner pick up his second victory of the season against Alcaraz.

Alcaraz leads the head-to-head with Sinner with 10 wins from their 16 meetings, but that’s not the only record the Spaniard holds over the Italian.

Carlos Alcaraz’s supreme serving stats in 2025

Alcaraz has vastly improved his serve this season and he now has some impressive statistics to back up this improvement.

The Spaniard has hit 198 more aces in 2025 than he did the season prior, having hit 463 perfect serves throughout 2025.

In contrast, Sinner has hit 405 aces after achieving 563 perfect serves last season. Of course, the Italian’s suspension at the start of the season would have drastically altered this number.

Nevertheless, Alcaraz’s huge numbers in 2025 are proof that the world number one continues to improve on the court.

The Spaniard has hit an average of 5.8 aces per game, which is 1.7 aces more than he managed last season.

The top 20 ace hitters in 2025

While Alcaraz has drastically improved the number of aces he’s hit this season, he is still only the 14th highest on the list.

Fritz tops the list with an incredible 867 aces, while fellow big servers Reilly Opelka, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Jakub Mensik, and Alexander Bublik make up the top five.
