Cameron Norrie defeated Kyrian Jacquet to secure his place in the Moselle Open semi-finals in Metz.

Norrie is looking to secure his place in the top 30 before 2025, which would earn him guaranteed entry into every ATP 500 event in 2026.

The British No. 2 made work difficult against the World No. 136, who stunned Norrie by taking the opening set.

Norrie had to bounce back from an injury time-out in the second set to confirm his place in the final four.

Cameron Norrie’s strange injury at the Moselle Open

Norrie suffered with a nosebleed at the culmination of the second set, but he was able to recover to defeat his French counterpart.

The Brit took the second set on a tie-break, before one break of serve was enough to confirm Norrie’s place in the semi-final.

Norrie didn’t appear to struggle with his nose following the medical timeout, but it’s certainly a rare occurrence for a player to start bleeding on the court.

The 30-year-old will play the winner of Lorenzo Sonego and Daniel Altmaier in the final four as he looks to win his first ATP title of the year.

Even if he doesn’t win the tournament, Norrie has already broken new ground in the last tournament of the season.

The Brit has managed to reach five quarter-finals in 2025, but this is the first time he’s made a semi this season.
