Her first title since making her return was won in May in San Diego. Swan defeated Dejana Radanovic in the final, catapulting her ranking back into the top 1000.
Later title wins in Don Benito and Wagga Wagga pushed her ranking up further to world number 378.
And, after defeating Wei Sijia 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 in the final of the W50 Brisbane, Swan achieved her highest ranking since December 2023.

Katie Swan retired from her latest tournament
Katie Swan, who boasts a career-high ranking of 118, contested her latest event at the W75 in Sydney, which began on November 17.
On Wednesday, Swan stepped onto court in Sydney alongside Eunhye Lee, a player from South Korea ranked 299 in the world.
Swan was leading 5-4 in the first set when she retired from the match.
Lee lost to fifth seed Emerson Jones in the second round: 6-2, 7-5.
