Harriet Dart picked up an impressive win over a rising star who amassed an incredible winning streak dating back to May 11.
Dart has slipped down the rankings in recent years, currently occupying the World No. 247 position on the WTA Rankings.
The Brit, who won a WTA 125 doubles title with Maia Lumsden earlier this month, is playing in the W35 Monastir 2025 in Tunisia.
The star won a match that tipped over the three-hour mark, subsequently ending a rising star’s 21-game win streak.

Harriet Dart ends Jeline Vandromme’s 21-game win streak
Dart took on 2025 US Open junior champion Jeline Vandromme, who has been dominant on the challenger tour.
The 17-year-old has climbed into the top 500 thanks to challenger performances in Monastir and Roehampton.
The Belgian had won 21 matches in a row before meeting Dart, who managed to dispatch the rising star in three sets.
Dart faced a match point in the third set, but came through it to pick up the win in an incredibly close-fought tie-break.
The Brit was 5-2 down in the third set and faced a match point at 5-2, but produced a fine comeback to pick up the win.
Dart confirmed the win at the three-hour and 17-minute mark in Tunisia to confirm her place in the quarter-finals.
The Brit will play Ekaterina Perelygina in the last eight with American Carolyn Ansari waiting in the semi-final.
Could Harriet Dart rise back up the rankings?
It was only this time last year that Dart made a career high ranking of World No. 70 after a summer which saw her reach the third round of Wimbledon and the semi-final of the Cincinnati Open.
A short run of poor form or injury can easily lead to a slip down the rankings and the Brit could easily turn things around.
With her success in the doubles too, there is every chance Dart could play her way into some form to earn positions at the bigger events.
Dart has reached one W75 event in 2025, losing to Victoria Mboko at the Porto Indoor in Portugal in March.
