Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina will meet in a Grand Slam final for the second time in their careers at the Australian Open.
Sabalenka defeated Elina Svitolina at the Australian Open, while Elena Rybakina managed to get past Jessica Pegula in straight sets.
The pair previously met in the Australian Open final in 2023, which saw Sabalenka win her first Grand Slam after a three-set battle.
The pair’s final appearance this year has seen Sabalenka and Rybakina emulate a feat last achieved by the Williams sisters in 2008.

Serena Williams and Venus Williams achieved the perfect run that year, before Venus defeated her sister in straight sets.
Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina have matched another record
Rybakina’s form has suggested she can oust Swiatek as Sabalenka’s true challenger following the last few months of action.
The Kazakhstani has reached the final of the last two majors, at the WTA Finals and now the Australian Open, alongside Sabalenka.
Who has impressed you most so far at the Australian Open?
The pair have become the first to achieve that feat since Martina Hingis and Lindsay Davenport met in the 1999 WTA Finals and the 2000 Australian Open final.
Rybakina is now up to World No. 3 in the rankings, but if she continues her impressive run, it won’t be long until she ousts Swiatek from that world number two position.
