Arthur Rinderknech produced a solid display to end Jack Draper’s campaign in the second round of the Dubai Tennis Championships.

The British number one was unable to break Rinderknech’s serve in a tight three set battle in his third match back from injury.

Draper showed impressive signs against Rinderknech, but the Frenchman’s match sharpness shone through in Dubai.

Rinderknech continued a stunning record against top 20 players, which dates back to his run at Queen’s Club.

Rinderknech enjoyed a standout season in 2025 and he began a run of incredible victories by defeating Ben Shelton in the first round of Queen’s.

Since the London tournament, Rinderknech has picked up several victories against top 20 stars, which continued against Draper.

The Frenchman has now beaten nine top 20 players since June 2025, including his latest win against Draper.

Rinderknech has only lost to Alex de Minaur and Carlos Alcaraz in that time, the latter of which has beaten him three times.
