Samuel is quickly becoming a household name on the Tour, and he strengthened his position on the circuit on Sunday after winning his third ATP Challenger title of the year.
Toby Samuel rises to world number 112 after latest title win
Samuel claimed the Winnipeg 75 Challenger title on Sunday after beating home favourite Liam Draxl 6-4, 6-2.

The Briton also defeated Mikael Arseneault, Yosuke Watanuki, Hsu Yu-hsiou and Charles Broom en route to the title.
Samuel has maintained a perfect record in Challenger finals, winning all five since his first appearance in November 2025.

Who is Jack Pinnington Jones?
Born in Kingston-upon-Thames, Jack Pinnington Jones has quickly emerged as one of the brightest young British talents on the ATP Tour.
The Brit, 23, has won two ATP Challenger titles and reached the second round of Wimbledon in 2025.
Pinnington Jones has also captured five ITF World Tennis titles and achieved a career-high ranking of world number 132 earlier this year.

The 23-year-old, now ranked 172nd on the Tour, will play Liam Broady or a qualifier in the Vancouver Challenger second round – if he defeats Toby Samuel.
Samuel and Pinnington Jones have never played each other before on the ATP circuit.
