Iga Swiatek has suffered her worst result at Roland Garros in seven years after losing in the fourth round.
Swiatek was beaten by Marta Kostyuk 7-5, 6-1 in just her fourth defeat in her eight appearances at Roland Garros.
The world number three particularly struggled in the second set, with Mats Wilander admitting he was disappointed by Swiatek’s performance.
Andy Roddick has also raised concern about Swiatek when reacting to her exit from Roland Garros in his podcast.

Andy Roddick says what he found ‘weird’ about watching Iga Swiatek’s loss to Marta Kostyuk
Roddick spoke about Swiatek in the latest episode of his ‘Served with Andy Roddick‘ podcast, where he claimed he found her latest defeat ‘concerning’.
The former world number one claimed that Swiatek appeared to be indecisive with her game style when her matches were close, as it was against Kostyuk for the first set.
“It is concerning for Iga,” said Roddick. “When she is rolling people, it looks good. When it gets into the nitty gritty right now, I think she is making more errors than she wants to, maybe going between styles.
“Do I go super aggressive? Do I try to pull back a little bit? It feels like she is just maybe searching for something in those moments. Wimbledon was a little different as she got through one long match early on but then she was just rolling people.
“It seems to be when the matches are a little bit closer she is questioning herself a little bit, which is different because for so long she was robotic. Obviously there are nerves in there, but it’s just weird to see her fade, especially at this tournament, when the chips are down.”
