Andy Murray will continue his comeback from injury in Rotterdam after he took a wild card to join an impressive looking entry list.

Murray missed out on the Australian Open due to a badly-timed positive coronavirus test, although he will be back in ATP Tour action next week in Montpellier.

He will then head to Rotterdam, where he has joined the likes of Rafael Nadal and Daniil Medvedev in the draw.

World number seven Alexander Zverev has also accepted a wild card after missing the initial cut-off point.

“It will be a very strong field now”, tournament director Richard Krajicek said.

On Rafael Nadal’s participation, he added: “He has not gone as far as he could in Australia.

“He is always a positive, driven guy. I think he is already working on Roland Garros. He has also said that he needs matches.”

Rotterdam is scheduled to get underway on March 1 and was won by Gael Monfils last year.
