“All good things come to an end, and today marks the closing of an incredible chapter,” said Vleeshouwers on Instagram.
“Over the past two years, we’ve reached so many milestones, winning two [WTA] 1000s, making back-to-back Grand Slam finals, and reaching world number three.

“I’m incredibly proud of what we built, but even more for the journey we shared along the way, the hard work, new experiences, the challenges, the laughs, and the moments that people don’t always see. I will always carry these memories with me.
“I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this. Your support and dedication have meant so much along the way. Shout out to Shadi, Rob, Hleb, and Ben, you guys are the best.”
The 40-year-old finished his statement by wishing Anisimova the very best for the future.
“Amanda, Thanks for all the good times and being you,” said Vleeshouwers.
“We have always valued the journey more than the destination, and it’s been a privilege to be part of yours.
“I wish you nothing but success and happiness moving forward, and I’ll always be rooting for you.

“As this chapter comes to a close, I’m taking time to reflect.
“I’m happy to be home with my family and excited for the future to see what doors will open next.
“Always.”
It’s unclear exactly why they decided to part ways, but Anisimova and Vleeshouwers can certainly be proud of the work they achieved together.
However, it must be said that things haven’t quite gone to plan so far in 2026.
After an unbelievable year in 2025, Anisimova failed to carry that momentum through to the new season.
She hasn’t been poor by any means, but currently sits ninth in the ‘Live WTA Race’.

Can Amanda Anisimova bounce back on clay?
Only time will tell who Anisimova will hire as Vleeshouwers’ replacement, but the chances are she might not have that sorted before she begins her clay-court campaign.
The two-time Grand Slam finalist has signed up for next week’s Charleston Open, where she will compete as the second seed.
She isn’t, however, set to play in Linz or Stuttgart, instead opting to take a break before the WTA 1000 events in Madrid and Rome.
Will Amanda Anisimova win a Grand Slam title in 2026?
Perhaps it’s during that window that Anisimova will hire a new coach.
When the coaching situation is resolved, Anisimova could be one to look out for on the clay.

For all her success on grass and hard, it shouldn’t be forgotten that the American made her breakthrough on clay at the French Open seven years ago.
- Amanda Anisimova reached the semifinals of the 2019 French Open
And in 2025, she made the fourth round of Roland Garros, where she lost to the eventual finalist, Aryna Sabalenka.
Returning with more confidence and a new coach in 2026, who knows what she might achieve?
There’s plenty for Anisimova and her fans to look forward to, but for now, she has some decisions to make!
