Iva Jovic has been one of the stories of the Australian Open so far as the 18-year-old has made her way to the quarter-final.
Jovic equalled a Venus Williams record at the Australian Open and she is yet to drop a set at the Melbourne event.
The talented teenager has defeated Katie Volynets, Priscilla Hon, Jasmine Paolini, and Yulia Putinseva to reach her first Grand Slam quarter-final.
Jovic makes up one of four Americans in the Australian Open quarter-finals and her compatriot, Amanda Anisimova, has revealed her thoughts on the young star’s tournament.

Amanda Anisimova has been surprised by Iva Jovic’s consistency
Jovic has been hotly-tipped for the past year, particularly after winning her maiden WTA title in Guadalajara in September.
The star has lived up to her potential at the Australian Open and Anisimova has watched on in astonishment.
Who has impressed you the most?
“Yeah, Iva, she’s been doing really, really well. She’s an incredibly stable player. She’s been really impressive. Yeah, it’s been really fun to watch her. I’d say she’s very consistent,” said Anisimova.
“I mean, I think that’s something that I’m like, Wow, that might be something I should be working on, how consistent she is.
“You can really see the focus in her eyes when she’s playing. But yeah, she’s been very, very impressive. Yeah, I’m really looking forward to watching more of her matches.”
Jovic will play Aryna Sabalenka in the last eight of the Australian Open, while Anisimova will face Jessica Pegula.
American players break 24-year streak at the Australian Open
Jovic, Anisimova, Pegula, and Coco Gauff have all made the quarter-finals at the Australian Open, which hasn’t been achieved by Americans for 24 years.
The last time four Americans players did the same at the Melbourne event was at the height of the Williams sisters’ power in 2001.

Venus Williams and Serena Williams were joined by Jennifer Capriati, Monica Seles, and Lindsay Davenport at the 2001 event.
Three Americans, Capriati, Venus Williams, and Davenport made it to the semi-final, while Capriati was the only American to reach the final.
She defeated Davenport and Martina Hingis to lift the trophy to win the first of three Grand Slams in her short career.
