The star also managed to bag the award in the WTA 250 category for her incredible final tie-break against Maya Joint at the Eastbourne Open.

Eala was on the wrong side of the result, but the pair played out a thrilling decider which ended up being won 12-10 by Joint.

The Filipino’s dream 2025 has continued as she has been heavily rewarded for the exciting things she has managed this season.

What can Alexandra Eala achieve in 2026?

Eala has all the tools to succeed on the WTA Tour, but she will not have the shock factor she enjoyed this term.

The top players will be aware of the danger that Eala poses, which means she will have to make another step up in 2026.

What is your bold prediction for the 2026 tennis season?

The star should be looking at claiming her first WTA 250 or higher, although she will also be hoping to lift the very first Philippines tournament in Manila in January.

The rising star will also be hoping to step up in Grand Slam events, as she has only ever won one match on the big stages.

She defeated Clara Tauson in the 2025 US Open first round, but she fell at the next hurdle to Cristina Bucsa.
