Alexandra Eala is already at the Women’s Stuttgart Open as she prepares for her second clay court tournament of the season.
Eala exited the Linz Open in the second round, but she’s been preparing exceptionally well for the WTA 500 event in Germany.
The Filipina star has been training with the likes of Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff as she prepares for a first time match with Leylah Fernandez.
At the tournament, she took part in a fan Q&A, where she revealed the three male stars she’d most like to play doubles with.

Alexandra Eala names three dream mixed doubles partners
When Eala was asked about potential male doubles partners, she was quick to name three of the most exciting names on the ATP Tour.
The 20-year-old instantly name-dropped Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, and Joao Fonseca as players she would like to play alongside.
Will Alex Eala ever win a Grand Slam title?
Eala has not played too much mixed doubles throughout her career, although she did win a 2025 SEA Games bronze medal alongside Niño Alcantara.
As for Alcaraz, Djokovic, and Fonseca, none of them have made a name for themselves by playing mixed doubles.
Alcaraz did, however, team up alongside Emma Raducanu for the 2025 US Open Mixed Doubles Challenge ahead of the Grand Slam.
Djokovic also played the event, alongside Olga Danilović, but both teams were knocked out in the first round.
Alexandra Eala must play the US Open Mixed Doubles this year
Eala’s popularity has soared in 2026, with several high-profile tournaments seeing mass queues outside her matches.
The Filipina star also proved incredibly popular at the US Open last season, where she picked up her debut Grand Slam victory in the first round against Clara Tauson.
What is the best win of Alexandra Eala’s career so far? 🤔
Iga Swiatek in Miami, Clara Tauson at the US Open, Jasmine Paolini in Dubai, or a different match?
Eala will surely be at the very top of the US Open organisers’ list when it comes to the Mixed Doubles Challenge this year.
The star could even make one of her dream teams come true, with Fonseca seemingly the most likely for a doubles partnership.
Both stars have enjoyed similar success so far in their young careers and Brazilians and Filipinos would flock far and wide for their matches at the Grand Slam.
