Eala has made lengthy battles a calling card over the past year, since her breakout tournament at the 2025 Miami Open.

In 2026 already, Eala has played out five three-set matches and she has impressively won all but one of them.

Eala will be glad to be playing Linette rather than Swiatek, but she will still need to turn around a negative head-to-head to continue her journey in Miami.
