Tennis on TV Next Week: How you can watch WTA Ningbo, ATP Antwerp and much more!

It is set to be an action packed week of tennis coming up, with five main tour events including the Ningbo Open, as well as ATP tournaments in Antwerp and Stockholm.

And we, at Tennishead, have you covered on how to get across all of the action over the coming week.

How can you watch WTA Ningbo?

The highest calibre tournament next week takes place at the upgraded WTA 500 event in Ningbo, with Roland Garros and Wimbledon finalist Jasmine Paolini as the top seed.

Paolini has had a breakout season that includes reaching the two aforementioned Grand Slam finals, but has only won one singles title that came in Dubai back in February.

However, if the Italian is wanting to add to her trophy cabinet she will need to overcome the likes of Wuhan finalist Qinwen Zheng, Emma Navarro, Barbora Krejcikova, Daria Kasatkina, Beatriz Haddad Maia, Anna Kalinskaya and Paula Badosa.

Paolini may also have to play her doubles partner and compatriot Sara Errani in the second round, who will need to overcome Brit Katie Boulter first.

Karolina Muchova is also in Ningbo next week, as she looks to continue her climb back up the rankings after reaching the US Open semi-finals and China Open final.

You can watch the Ningbo Open on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, as well as across other parts of Europe, or on Tennis Channel in the United States of America.

How can you watch ATP Antwerp?

The ATP Tour is now leaving China to head to the European indoor hard courts, with Antwerp hosting one of three 250 level events over the coming week.

Alex de Minaur is the top seed in somewhat of a surprise late entry for his first tournament since reaching the US Open quarter-finals.

The Australian has been struggling with a hip injury since Wimbledon, and is in need of ranking points if he is to obtain one of those eight qualification spots for the ATP Finals.

De Minaur was the runner-up in Antwerp four years ago, but will need to overcome the likes of Stefanos Tsitsipas and Felix Auger-Aliassime if he is to go one better in 2024.

Auger-Aliassime is one of two former champions returning to Antwerp, having claimed the title back in 2022, with Richard Gasquet the other after receiving a wildcard as he enters the final stages of his career.

You can watch the European Open on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, or on Tennis Channel in the United States of America. All of the action will also be available on Tennis TV worldwide.

How can you watch ATP Stockholm?

Stockholm is a regular fixture on the ATP Tour, and has been since 1969 when Nikola Pilic claimed the inaugural singles title.

Andrey Rublev and Casper Ruud are the top two seeds this year, as they both look to put early exits at the Shanghai Masters behind them.

In-fact, Ruud has actually lost five of his last six singles matches and is in danger of slipping out of those all-important top eight places in the race to the year-end finals in Turin.

The next two seeded players are both former champions in the Swedish capital, with Grigor Dimitrov (2013) and Tommy Paul (2021) looking to recreate previous successes at the tournament where they claimed their maiden ATP title.

Wildcards have been awarded to three-time major winner Stan Wawrinka, as well as home favourites Elias Ymer and Leo Borg, who is the son of former World No.1 Bjorn Borg!

You can watch the Stockholm Open on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, as well as across other parts of Europe, or on Tennis Channel in the United States of America.

How can you watch WTA Osaka?

The other WTA tournament next week takes place in the Japanese city of Osaka, with Magdalena Frech and Elise Mertens the top two ranked players.

Ashlyn Krueger is the only former singles champion returning to Osaka, having claimed her maiden WTA title at the tournament last year without dropping a set.

However, the defending champion will have her work cut out for her after drawing against fifth seed Elina Avanesyan in the first round.

The remaining seeds in Osaka this year are Marie Bouzkova, Viktoriya Tomova, Diane Parry, Elisabetta Cocciaretto and Katie Volynets.

There is also an intriguing wildcard list featuring Grand Slam champions Bianca Andreescu and Sofia Kenin, as well as Japanese players Mai Hontama and 18-year-old Sara Saito.

You can watch the Japan Women’s Open on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, as well as across other parts of Europe, or on Tennis Channel in the United States of America.

How can you watch ATP Almaty?

The final main tour event coming up next week is in Kazakhstan, having changed location from the capital Astana to the largest city in the country, Almaty.

Frances Tiafoe, Alejandro Tabilo, Karen Khachanov and Francisco Cerundolo are the top four seeds and all receive an automatic bye to the second round.

Last year’s champion Adrian Mannarino also returns as the eighth seed, with the 36-year-old looking for a change in fortune after recently dropping outside the top 50.

The other seeded players to keep an eye out for include the in-form Tomas Machac, alongside Zhizhen Zhang and Fabian Marozsan.

You can watch the Almaty Open on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, as well as across other parts of Europe, or on Tennis Channel in the United States of America.
