Things appear to be looking good for world No.1 Rafael Nadals chances of defending his Wimbledon crown.

Not only did he come through a three-hour practice session in SW19 on Wednesday, he has announced he will play back-to-back exhibition matches on Thursday and Friday.

The Spaniard will take on Lleyton Hewitt at The Fortis Bank Tennis Classic at the Hurlingham Club in south west London on Thursday and face Swiss Stan Wawrinka 24 hours later at the same venue.

Day one of the exhibition saw world No.21 Tomas Berdych take on world No.18 Wawrinka, the Czech coming through 7-6, 7-5.

On Wednesday last weeks Queens runner-up, James Blake, played Russian former world No.1 Marat Safin.
