Team captain Modesto Vazquez confirmed Juan Monaco, Lucas Arnold and Juan Ignacio Chela will join Nalbandian for the March 6-8 tie, after Juan Martin del Potro dropped out of the team.

Del Potro did not want to switch to playing on clay in the middle of a run of hard court events on the ATP World tour.

If Argentina beat Holland as expected, they will visit the winner of the tie between Czech Republic and France.

In 2008, Argentina suffered a painful defeat against Spain in the final.
