Mallorca Open 2020 preview: Tournament makes its debut


The Mallorca Open is a new grass court tournament that will run from June 22nd – June 27th, 2020. Part of the ATP 250 Series, this tournament will replace the previous ATP 250 Event in Antalya, Turkey.

 

This will be the first time that Mallorca has hosted an ATP event since 2002 and the first grass court event in Spain. Night sessions will have artificial light to give a big-match feel – making this an exciting tournament for fans.

 

Preview:

Spain’s Fernando Verdasco and Feliciano Lopez have confirmed their entry for the tournament. Both players are former multi-time Grand Slam quarter-finalists who bring a game full of variety. Lopez won his seventh title on grass at the Queen’s Championships last year.
