French Open Social Slice: Djokovic reaches milestone; L’equipe blunder

On today’s Social Slice, Djokovic reaches a milestone on the clay and a French newspaper are involved in an embarrassing case of mistaken identity.

Novak Djokovic has become the first player to achieve at least an 80% win percentage on all three surfaces, according to @IdemoDjoko.

Djokovic’s victories in Paris so far this week have taken him across the 80% threshold, which no other player has been able to achieve. Seriously impressive from the Serb.

In other news, French newspaper L’equipe were involved in a case of mistaken identity after they correctly identified Cameron Norrie before imposing a picture of Frenchman Ugo Humbert underneath his name.

We know it’s unusual for a British player to still be in Paris at this stage, but c’mon L’equipe – you’re better than that!

Lucas Pouille is the first player to hold them to account.

British hopes rest firmly with Cameron Norrie at the French Open this year, and the 25-year-old faces his toughest possible test against Rafael Nadal.

As stated by @LTA, the stage is set.

Daniil Medvedev is feeling very much at home on the clay.

Unusual considering his clay form coming in, but the Russian has lost just one set en route to the fourth round. Dangerous.
