The third-seeded Argentinian wasted little time in recording a 6-1 6-2 result against her French opponent at the red clay event today.

The world number 46, Dulko is the highest-ranked competitor left in the tournament and the only player to have won a WTA title previously. Seeking her fourth trophy and first since last May, Dulko will face with 67th-ranked Edina Gallovits in Saturday’s semi-finals.

The unseeded Romanian moved a step closer to her second career final appearance with a 6-3 6-0 triumph over Masa Zec-Peskiric of Slovenia.

The other semi-final will pit seventh seed Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez of Spain against unseeded Austrian Patricia Mayr.

Martinez Sanchez ended Betina Jozami’s impressive run with a 6-3 6-7 (6/8) 6-4 triumph while Mayr downed Romania’s Ioana Raluca Olaru 6-1 6-2.

Jozami fell just short of a repeat of last season’s performance in Bogota, when she had the best tournament of her WTA career after emerging from qualifying to reach the last four.
